CSCH-OD promotes the use of hypnosis in clinical practice by regulated health professionals, adhering to the highest ethical principles, through training, collegial support, and liaison with other professional hypnosis societies.
Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Workshops are presented annually by CSCH-OD to introduce and further develop the skills and use of hypnosis in a wide variety of clinical settings.
CSCH-OD aims to inform members of the public about the benefits of clinical hypnosis when used by qualified and certified health professionals.
There is a referral system available to assist in finding qualified health professionals who make use of clinical hypnosis as part of their practice.
